I hope to see you all at Baumgardner Park in beautiful Blue Springs, MO this Saturday for the annual Sheffield Family Life Center church picnic! I hear there will be kickball, volleyball, and other competitive games ( I think between the men and ladies!)...That should be a blast! If anyone can beat Pastor Ray Mabion at "SPADES" that would be a hoot too!!
Just a note to say we had such a wonderful time in the Lord this past Wednesday as Kevin Hamel and Mike Miller led us in our monthly 'Worship Explosion'....It was classic worship done in such a great and contemporary way. Kevin shared, as a way of giving hope, the tremendous physical difficulty his wife, Tiffany, has gone through recently, and that the Lord has been there by His tremendous Spirit all along the way! I hope to have Kevin back some time in the future!
Anthony Evans will be our special guest in the main sanctuary this Sunday August 29th....What a great minister in music and the word...Anthony will be with us in both services! Bring a friend who needs Jesus! We are so grateful that Jesus Christ accepts us just the way we are....And HE encourages us to do the same thing with others in our life, too!
